Good morning!! The king is dead. A year ago this month Michael Jackson past away. He has been given the name “King of Pop,” and rightly so, given his successful career. How successful was he at everything else besides his music? Being good at something can make you successful, but are you still considered that, if you fail at everything else? Two thousand years ago they said the “King of the Jews” was dead. God had another plan for His perfect son. Through His death and resurrection we can succeed in everything, even through our failures. Michael’s “Never, Neverland” was bought with his success. “Forever, Everland” was bought for our failures. Be joyful!! Love you.

Becky, in my devotional reading today I just read the following verses out of 1 Corinthians 3:13-15, “His work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man’s work. If what he has built survives, he will recieve his reward. If it is burned up, he will suffer loss; he himself will be saved, but only as one escaping through the flames.” Great reminder to build things that will last here on earth!
