I needed to go shopping. When I arrived at the entrance of the parking lot it was blocked off with police cars. They were searching a car as two young people stood by. I decided to take an alternate route only to find that it was blocked off too. I couldn’t get through so I decided to take yet another route only to find out that I had managed to travel in a circle and was right back to the place that I had started from.
Although I didn’t want to, I finally decided to take the opening out to the highway and somehow I eventually got to where I was trying to go. When I turned down the first isle to find a parking spot I found that the isle was blocked off! I just couldn’t get to where I was trying to go. Fortunately, I found that the next isle was open and a spot opened up that was even closer to store that I was trying to get to.
Do you feel like that sometimes? You are headed in a certain direction and you just can’t get there. You keep trying and nothing works. Eventually you get so frustrated that you just give up. “Up” is the key word. When you look up and give everything to Jesus everything changes. Not only do you get to where He wants you to be, when you get there you find out that His destination is even better than you had hoped.
