My Lord, I wonder why
I had to suffer in this life,
While growing, trying to understand
Why I had no peace but strife.

I wonder why the people said,
The things that hurt so much
Why their comments were
So mean and cruel and such.

I guess that what was, was meant
Only for my harm and shame,
But You changed it for my good
