Manna and Coffee

The Lord made Adam
And then He made Eve.
They were meant to be a couple,
To each other they were to cleave.
The Lord gave Adam
A job all his own-
To name all the animals,
And those with no backbone.
Adam did his job,
He did it so well,
That now we have here today
All kinds of wild names to tell.
The ox and the lion,
The giraffe so tall.
I wonder if Adam had fun
Giving made-up names to all?
