Good Morning!! My children have taught me a lot about the love of Jesus by NOT doing what I ask them to do. When they complain about picking up their dirty clothes and cleaning up their messes, I ask myself, “If they love me why won’t they do what I ask them to do?” I understand now how Jesus must feel about us. As a mother, I would lay down my life for my children and will defend them no matter what, even if they were found to be wrong. That is exactly how Jesus feels about you and me. He DID lay down his life for us because He saw all the wrong that we do, and our helplessness to make up for it. GOD DEFENDS and FORGIVES me, even when I’m wrong. He loves me anyway, just like I do with my Children. I understand the sadness I must give Him when I don’t do as He asks. I want to do what is right JUST BECAUSE I LOVE HIM. You are so right, a Mother/and or Grandmother would and should defend their children. Yes, even if they are found to be wrong,..but it is our duty as Mothers to teach our children and grand children to do the right thing and explain to them what they have done wrong, or maybe what they could or should have done different. God is loving and forgiving, and He wants alll His children to live by His way. God Bless

Becky this was great & should be read by every man ,woman, child. A new way of looking at Gods love for us. NOne of us are perfect & neither is our children,but unconditional love covers sin . Relate parents to God’s love & care.
