We were sisters
Through both thick and thin.
We often fought and argued
But neither one would win.
We were sisters
Even when we were apart.
“Cause I never really left you,
I held you in my heart.
We were sisters
With different hopes and dreams,
But the fabric of our love
Was sewn tightly at the seams.
We were sisters
And sisters again we’ll be,
When we meet in heaven
And, together, Jesus’ face we’ll see!
